Test methods

  • Abrasion Test

    Abrasion Test

for testing concrete paving stones, concrete slabs, concrete kerb stones, natural stone paving stones, natural stone slabs

  • Bending Test

    Bending Test

For standard-compliant flexural strength testing on cement prisms and mortar prisms, plaster prisms and plaster prisms, screed mortar and screed compounds, ceramic tiles and slabs, concrete roof tiles, clay roof tiles, refractory materials, concrete beams, concrete slabs, concrete curbstones, concrete paving stones, natural stone paving stones, natural stone slabs and boards

  • Compression Test

    Compression Test

For standard-compliant compression strength testing of concrete cubes, concrete cylinders, concrete drill cores, natural stone samples, sand-lime bricks, masonry bricks, aerated concrete blocks and aerated concrete blocks, among others. Compression tests on building material samples: Cubes, concrete cylinders, brickwork, stones and elements made of unreinforced concrete or lightweight concrete, bricks, sand-lime bricks and elements, ceramic clinkers, cellular concrete blocks and hollow blocks.

  • Creep Rupture Test

    Creep Rupture Test

Creep rupture testing records the behaviour of materials under constant test loads and high temperatures over longer periods

  • Fatigue Test

    Fatigue Test

Dynamic testing systems of various designs are used to test material fatigue / fatigue strength on materials and components. It is important that the components are designed to be fatigue-resistant in order to be able to massively counteract the cyclic loads in such fatigue tests and endurance tests.

  • Internal Pressure Test

    Internal Pressure Test

Testing the water permeability at 0.5 or 1.0 bar internal pressure on: Tubes and preformed parts made of concrete, steel-fibre concrete and reinforced concrete

  • Multiaxial Test

    Multiaxial Test

Various materials, parts and components are subjected to loads with several test axes in order to better simulate tests and conditions. For the verification of the test specifications, multi-axis testing machines and special test benches are possible, which are adapted to the later use.

  • Shear Test

    Shear Test

Methods for determining shear behaviour are mainly used for testing thermal insulation materials and building materials in the building industry. The sample arrangement is specified in the relevant standards. The standard-compliant test setup in combination with the testing machine and sample handling are decisive for user-friendly operation.

  • Thermomechanical Test

    Thermomechanical Test

The determination of the material behaviour at creep-relevant temperatures is a basic requirement for safe design of high-temperature components. The temporally dependent deformation behaviour under constant thermal and mechanical load can only be determined by suitable long-term tests.

  • Torsion Test

    Torsion Test

Torsion testing machines or test benches combined with torsion drives are used for angle of rotation measurements over a defined torque range on materials and components in many branches of industry. In order to meet the high requirements regarding torque, accuracy and reproducibility, high-quality components are used.
